a timesaver.
If you follow along with me on instagram you know I've been feeling overwhelmed with schedules and life lately.
Two boys in school.
Traveling soccer.
New blog commitments.
Another soccer team.
Golf leagues.
Oy.
So I've been trying to organize myself and streamline my workload.
Color coordinated sharpies and washi tape.
An assignment notebook and calendar for the fridge.
A notebook to jot down the things I swear I'm going to remember but totally forget by the time I get home.
Because...
this.
This is my view as I sit and write this post.
Our house is loud and crazy and by the end of the day this is what has amassed.
And the more steps and time I can cut out of those commitments I have, the more I can focus on keeping all the crazy under control.
{And oh ya...having fun with those tiny humans!}
Recently I learned of Walgreens Healthcare Clinics.
They're a new, convenient way to help manage the healthcare needs of our family, and right inside of Walgreens.
The boys' favorite perk of being in Walgreens...candy at the checkout!
School's starting so that means germs are coming.
{I better start upping my vitamin C now!!}
And sickie littles mean trips to the doctor's office.
Typically those trips are no big deal, but on short notice, they're not always easy.
Appointments during busy times {aka cold and flu season!} are sometimes hard to come by.
Packing up all three kids to go sit in a waiting room can be......unpleasant.
This is how we roll.
The Walgreens Healthcare Clinics welcome walk-ins as well as appointments, and are open 7 days a week with evening hours.
The Healthcare Clinics are only available in select locations, so I checked to see where one was close to us.
I found one literally 5 minutes away!
I feel like I just made such an awesome discovery for myself.
If making a typical doctor's appointment doesn't work within all of our busy schedules, it's nice to know we have access to a nurse practitioner for medical advice...and nearby too!
Of course, my focus at this point in life is mainly on the health of my littles.
But the Walgreens Healthcare Clinics do offer plenty beyond that...
They're staffed with licensed and board certified Nurse Practitioners, so they can also help manage and monitor a chronic condition, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma or high cholesterol. Some clinics are staffed with physician assistants!

My oldest is starting Kindergarten tomorrow!! I am fully anticipating a sicky few months coming up, since he has never been around so many littles at once before. What a great find! Our closest Walgreens is 5 minutes away :) Thanks for sharing.
