Instagramming.

*************************************************************************** Since I haven't done an instagram post in a few weeks...
here's another trip down Christmas memory lane (and a wee bit of January).

Brace yourselves.

Scout, our elfin friend who is now residing at the North Pole.

99% of my shopping was done online this year.
Love you Amazon Prime!

Big Brother is now 6.

Message to all of my children:
Stop. Growing. Up.

Kasey's cranberry bliss bars.
Go make them now.

See.  I told you I did a lot of online shopping.

I'm now trying to convince my husband to let me paint our front door aqua.

Costco was just a leetle busy two days before Christmas.
Who would've guessed?! :)

No such thing as too many lights.

Maple pecans.
Also amazing.

Not fancy, but still yummy.

My husband bought a new cookie scoop for me.
At 9 pm.
December 23rd.
He's a keeper. :)

Every year I make cranberries.
Every year my children tell me they want the canned stuff.
Next year I'm giving in.
(Don't tell anyone I like canned better too!)

Spritz cookies with the cherry in the middle remind me so much of Christmas as a child.
My grandma made these every year.
Her arthritis in her hands is bad now so she doesn't bake much.
I've happily picked up where she left off.

We took a break from our cookie making for the Grinch.

Because we didn't have as many cookies as the Keebler elves already, I made a few Christmasy looking fruit tarts too.

If you come to our house, you better be ready to eat.

Because this guy doesn't mess around.

My mom and brother in law being put to work.

On Christmas morning it actually snowed!
The boys were thrilled even though it was just a dusting.

Christmas night we all came down with the stomach flu.
Oh dear Lord.
Horrible.
Let's never do that again, k?

Just like that we all felt better.
So back to more baking and making for NYE.
Not that we went anywhere though...

Instagram and Facebook were filled with photos of beautiful year end meals and parties.
We ordered two $5.99 pizzas from Domino's.
So fancy!!

On New Year's morning I found the sink looking like this.
I'm still not sure what was going on.
Or where in our house the boys found all those toothbrushes.
Huh?
Mystery of motherhood.
I'll just consider better oral hygiene their resolution for 2013...
