KCWC day 3: sweet little dress

I had to give the Leila & Ben sweet little dress another shot.

I ditched the directions, used my serger, and finished in just over an hour.

I now love this pattern. :)

Fabric is a gauzy cotton from JoAnn's.

I just started following your blog. I really like it. When I saw this dress here, I just had to buy the pattern. We have some younger nieces in our family. I altered mine a bit. I shortened the bottom in order to add some ruffles. It's so easy to sew, which is perfect for me since my only sewing experience was from Home Ec. class in 7th and 9th grade, and that's been awhile!
