Rainbow painted wooden spoons
Of all the makeovers and before and afters I've ever shown, I think this one may make me the happiest.
After seeing these and these, I gathered up all of my wooden spoons and utensils.
Along with a little masking tape and (non-toxic, dishwasher safe) enamel paint, I gave them a bright and happy makeover.
Now if only I could think of a way to properly display their rainbowy goodness in my kitchen!
Wonderful. Thank you for posting.ReplyDelete
They do look very pretty and cheerful! :-)ReplyDelete
I've been eyeing this one, too. So awesome. They turned out great!ReplyDelete
How about a wooden spoon chandelier? I have a fork and spoon one in my kitchen and love it. I recently saw a wooden spoon chandi on interest. :)ReplyDelete
Maybe a glass canister or container? Love your wooden spoons!ReplyDelete
what did you do to the rolling pin?ReplyDelete
That is so cute. I just love it. You should put them all in a white bowl handle up. :)ReplyDelete
I love wooden spoons. You can never have too many. I can't wait to see how you display them.ReplyDelete
cute! and totally something I can actually do myself too.ReplyDelete
I have a towel bar on my kitchen wall with "s" hooks on it. I hang those kind of things there...pretty and easy to get too.ReplyDelete
Thank you for sharing! What kind of paint did you use?ReplyDelete
HI! Can you tell me more about the paint you used? Did you get it at a regular craft store? Does the package actually say "non-toxic, dishwasher safe enamel paint" ?? Thanks!ReplyDelete
