Faking it: letterpress

Inspired by this, I tried my hand at faking letterpress.

I love how the intentionally imperfect style mimics some of my other favorite projects

And while I was at it, I also made some food gift tags.  I think I like them best!

  6. This is a great idea. I love the look. I wonder if it would work on a photo matte to add a caption or date under a picture.

  17. I don't have a clue how I found your blog, but I'm glad I did. I was first drawn in because you and I are both using that great Thomas Moore quote on our blogs. After looking through your previous posts, I've found so many creative ideas that I've subscribed. : )

  18. So, so happy I jumped on Tater Tots and Jello and clicked the link to your blog. I love your creativity and style! Following, yup! I've only seen those metal stamps one other time (used on washers to make pet tags) and thought they were incredible. Now that I've seen the way you've applied them to a paper technique, I'm completely dying to get a set! Jenn/rook no. 17
