Christmas in July
July? Already? That means we're on the side of the year closer to Christmas.
So if you're ready to get a jumpstart on your Christmas projects, head on over to Larissa's. She's hosting a whole month of Christmas ideas.
And guess what...I'm guest posting there today. Quilted coasters. One of my very faves. Super easy to make, too.
See you there!
super cool! I'll go check it out. And, I realized ealier that I did NOT even include what colors I would want if I DID win! Ha! DUH! I would want baby pink, browns, powder blue and olive green. :) Those are the colors of my baby girl's 1st birthday party that I was talking about making them for, but would love to win them from you instead! :) Thanks!ReplyDelete
I LOVE the bunting you made with the flags. If I were the winner, then I'd want it for either a girl or a boy. I love your rainbow idea, so that would work for me. :)ReplyDelete
I like these coasters! I have also started a Handmade Holiday blog page with weekly posts to get organized and begin projects now.ReplyDelete
Warm wishes, Tonya
ooh I am glad I am not the only person who starts getting excited for Christmas in July! LOL I am heading over now to get some ideas :-)ReplyDelete
Good grief! Christmas. This year is passing me by. Love the quilted coasters. These will definitely be on my project list.ReplyDelete
I'm definitely hoping to make our Christmas gifts this year. I can't believe time is going so quickly though. Gah. I'm still working through birthday gifts for the little ones.ReplyDelete
My post this morning was about making jam. I loved your black and white check ribbon on your jam jars and your photo inspired me to try something new this year. I mentioned your post today as well. Hope you'll stop by and read it!
You were reading my mind! Yesterday I just decided it was time to start thinking about starting on those christmas gifts!ReplyDelete
These coaster are awesome! Can't wait to make some!ReplyDelete
But Christmas gifts? I'm so not there yet!
Those coaster are dang cute! Are you going to give a tutorial? I better head on there then.ReplyDelete
Coasters are such a great gift idea - I love making them. I just started thinking about Christmas gifts, too...gotta start in summer to get them all done! Heading over to Just Another Day right now.ReplyDelete
Thank you for the tutorial on the coasters. I have just started sewing & since threading my machine is a challenge in itself, I was really excited to be able to whip these up in a weekend. The plan was to use them as Christmas gifts but I love them so much I may have to keep my 1st stack. Now I know I can always make more for friends and family! Thanks!!!ReplyDelete
