Since we've no place to go...

The Midwest has gotten a boatload of snow the past few days.  There's nothing like a 3 foot snow drift to make you want to hide inside until a spring thaw.

But I can't say that I mind.

Because while this was the scene outside...(and I can admit it is pretty)...

I happily locked myself in my sewing room inside.

This little quilt is a gift for friends that just had a baby girl.

In November.

Whoops.

I certainly hope it is better late than never!

  8. It's beautiful! Truth be told, those are my very favorite colors... Most people think it's blue, but I love pink, green and white!

  9. Your fabrics and quilt are sooooooo pretty. I'm sure the recipients will love it.

I don't want to play "I'm slacker than you" but my grandson was born last July and I still haven't finished the vintage chenille quilt I started making in January before he was born.
