Tshirts and crayons and wreaths...oh my!
You'd think I'd learn. You'd think after last time I'd skip Target and head over to Old Navy to buy the tshirts.
But I didn't.
This time I made birthday tshirts for my boys' upcoming party. The big 1 and the big 3. I can't believe it. Where did my babies go??
I finished them last night. I made them the same way I made our nephew's shirt, only with numbers instead of an intial.

How obvious is it from how I styled those shirts that I worked at Abercrombie for years?!
For some reason I just love that star on the back.
I'm nearly done with the treat bags for the party. I made a set of crayons for each bag. Each set has 10 crayons...each of my boys' names (4 letters each) plus each of their ages.
10 crayons x 12 sets = a whole lot of melted wax.
They're super cute, and I think they'll be a big hit, but it's safe to say I don't want to unwrap another Crayola for a long, long time.
And my gumdrop wreaths are finished, too. I'll share how I made them tomorrow!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is so close! And with so much left to do!

You are seriously so clever. The wreath is killing me. I want one.
ReplyDeleteNow.
And, I totally bought two little shirts to make something similar for my little cousin. I hope they turn out as cute as yours.
What a fun party - I love the shirts, but I know my boy hates button up shirts and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't wear it the way I would want him to.
ReplyDeletealso, I've been looking for gumdrops - so excited to do this.
I love those shirts and those crayons are going to be a hit at the party. How fun!
ReplyDeleteSoooo much talent---lovin those shirts---adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe shirts are so cute.
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled on your blog-LOVE IT!!!! You are so creative and it gives me hope as a SAHM to let some creative juices flow. Now I just need to find the time-ha ha!!! Thanks for the great ideas. LOVE THE SHIRTS!!!! What kind of sewing machine do you have?
ReplyDeleteBrooke...I have a Singer and it's great! It's what my mom had and what I always used in school, so I wouldn't dream of switching.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom has an old singer too. :) I may have to ask for one for Christmas. I have been hand sewing little projects here and there-and 3 kids no longer allows that kinda time-haha!!! Love your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteI just have to ask, how did you make the crayons? I would LOVE an idea like that for my boys.
