Things I should have tried before

Covered buttons.  I love them!  (And what a great way to use up those itty bitty scraps that I insist on saving.)

Freezer paper stencils.  Something I've seen buzzing around everyone's blog as a project idea for some time.

Fast.  Fun.  Easy.  Great results.  What the heck took me so long??

  1. I need to try fabric buttons as well!!! I've already used the freezer paper stencils from when I started quilting, but I've been intimidated by a wee button for some unknown reason.

  3. I love covering buttons! A hint that I found to keep the fabric from moving around on you is to put a bit of regular glue stick on the button. I used this trick when I was using the college emblems for buttons. It helped me stabilize the image.

    What are freezer stencil paper???
