Not the most original project

But still a good one.



$1.50 thrift store frame...



Plus a little of this...



And a few coats of this...



Make for a fun new chalkboard in our kitchen!

  3. I am VERY new to the whole 'DIY' thing.. so I gotta ask.. Does the chalkboard paint go on the glass of the frame? If you could let me know, that'd be fantastic!

  4. Natasha...You can paint directly on the glass, but since the frame that I bought was literally just the frame, I had a piece of wood cut to size, hot glued it in and painted it.

  5. I know this is a super old post, but I just found your blog and have been reading in entirity! I love it! How many laters of the chalkboard paint did you paint on the board? And how many layers of the sealent?
